Act as the lead for HMC Medical Research Center Research Management system working with the HICT and MRC teams and system developer to ensure:
Technical issues, which cannot be fixed locally, are fixed quickly so as not to impede the research approval process.
Establish and manage a local helpdesk for researchers and ensure timely technical support is provided for researchers and for staff within the MRC.
Advise and support the MRC team on workflows
Effective systems are in place to collate information related to system enhancements and provide advice and direction to the MRC team
Ensure the system allows for effective and accurate reporting
Act as the Medical Research Center lead for the implementation of new systems related to research as required and defined by business requirements, for example electronic data capture system
Manage a small team
Experience / Knowledge
Previous knowledge / experience of research management systems
Experience of team management
Experience of working with and negotiating with multiple stakeholders
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university or college in the Health Sciences (Nursing, Medicine or
other clinical discipline.)
3 years clinical or operational experience in clinical practice. Experience in Clinical Information
systems implementation and support (CERNER installations preferred)
