We are now interested in speaking with experienced Chief Technologist Dialysis Services to join the Qatar government funded national health service, who is the main provider of secondary and tertiary healthcare services with a multi-national workforce of over 29,000 professionals.
They manage 12 hospitals – nine specialist hospitals and three community hospitals – as well as the National Ambulance Service and home and residential care services.
This role has responsibility across all the Corporations Dialysis seven facilities for the provision of technical advice on all aspects of dialysis service delivery. In addition the post holder has overall responsibility for the operational delivery of these technical services. In conjunction with the Head of Nephrology and Dialysis the post holder is accountable for the delivery of a safe high quality dialysis service
The Dialysis Unit is part of the renal replacement therapy program to help patients suffering from various forms of kidney failure. It is a technologically sophisticated system with a special design that allows constant patient observation and timely intervention to prevent complications. The Dialysis Unit is made up of 28 dialysis stations, 22 hemodialysis and 6 peritoneal dialysis stations.
This organisation has strong partnerships with Weill Cornell Medicine, SIDRA, Qatar Biomedical Research Institute, Primary Health Care Corporation, The University of Qatar, The University of Calgary and the College of the North Atlantic and is already the first outside of the US to have all of its hospitals accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI).
It is also the first hospital system in the Middle East to achieve institutional accreditation from the ACGME International LLC, which demonstrates excellence in the way medical graduates are trained through residency, internship and fellowship programs.
